I was 16 and a junior in high school when I first realized I wanted to go into the arts. I had one teacher who put up the money to help get me into national competitions, even got me through credentials so once I graduated high school I could start making some money filming local commercials and weddings. Till this day, I am thankful for his mentorship and I dedicate this page to him. Bill Harris of Mt. Carmel High School.

Big Break
As you’ve probably have heard, you need a little bit of luck to become successful. I was lucky. I made friends, and one of those friends had a friend and that friend of a friend had a cousins and someone along the way heard about me and my aspiration of becoming a filmmaker one day. They contacted me brought me on to a small made for YouTube play/movie called Yellow Face written by David Henry Wang and produced by the director of the Fast & Furious franchise, Justin Lin.
Evolve IMG
After being an assistant camera operator on Yellow Face, one of the producer of the movie liked my work ethics, hustle and attention to detail. She brought me on to her main team, Evolve IMG. A small boutique commercial studio that had some big clients with the names of ESPN, National Geographic. It was an honor working and training under these guys as a Camera Assistant. I freelanced with this crew for years and it was some of the best experience of my life.
Fox San Diego
In 2014, I was contact by San Diego’s Fox affiliate to be their Director of Photography for their in-house Commercial productions. I worked with local businesses and helped produce national level content at a local budget. It was a challenge, but it made it easier for our sales team to get new customers to get new clients. I was fortunate enough to have been given the trust by the Jaguar dealership owner to have free reigns on the creative production. It landed me my first Emmy Nomination and that was an honor on its own.
The Freelance World
When I wasn’t working for Fox or Evolve, I was freelancing. The world of the artist. I took clients from all industries and of all sizes. The challenges of different budgets, different industries, B2B or B2C was always fun. The work ranged from video production, to graphic design, to animation, to still photography. I was fortunate enough to have worked with clients such as Apple, Riot Games, CYMER, and Airgain.
